PATRICIA JACQUELINE NIESLER (nee THOMPSON) December 29, 1947 February 14, 2008 It is with deep regret and sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Niesler, after a tragic accident took her life while she was vacationing in Texas. Pat was a beautiful woman of 60 with an energy and vibrance for life. Pat will be dearly missed by her husband of 11 years, Bob Niesler; daughter Jackie (Sam); granddaughter Kyrn; son Robert; daughter Barb (Sean); brother Don (Maureen); sisters, Barbara (Rob) and Marj (Joe); as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Stan and Ruby. Born in Toronto, Pat was the first of four children and was raised and educated in Winnipeg. After university, Pat became an excellent teacher throughout the Winnipeg School Division for 37 years. Mom instilled many values in our lives, most of all honesty and truthfulness. She was involved in community life, full of activities and artistic endeavours and recently had become a member of the Retired Teachers Association. After retirement, her love for travel took her all over Canada, the USA, Mexico and China. Kyrn was the centre and focus of Nana's life and they went on many adventures, from painting class to paddle boating. Mom, your love and support was the fuel that enabled me to do things that I thought impossible. A Mother's love is like a circle, it has no beginning and no ending. It keeps going around and around, ever expanding, touching everyone who comes in contact with it. Engulfing them like the mornings mist, warming them like the noontime sun, and covering them like a blanket of evening stars. A Memorial service to celebrate Pat's life will be held on Friday, February 29, 2008 at 11:00 am at the Blessed Sacrament Parish, 710 Roanoke Street, Transcona.
