Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICIA JACQUELINE NIESLER (nee THOMPSON) December 29, 1947 February 14, 2008 It is with deep regret and sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Niesler, after a tragic accident took her life while she was vacationing in Texas. Pat was a beautiful woman of 60 with an energy and vibrance for life. Pat will be dearly missed by her husband of 11 years, Bob Niesler; daughter Jackie (Sam); granddaughter Kyrn; son Robert; daughter Barb (Sean); brother Don (Maureen); sisters, Barbara (Rob) and Marj (Joe); as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Stan and Ruby. Born in Toronto, Pat was the first of four children and was raised and educated in Winnipeg. After university, Pat became an excellent teacher throughout the Winnipeg School Division for 37 years. Mom instilled many values in our lives, most of all honesty and truthfulness. She was involved in community life, full of activities and artistic endeavours and recently had become a member of the Retired Teachers Association. After retirement, her love for travel took her all over Canada, the USA, Mexico and China. Kyrn was the centre and focus of Nana's life and they went on many adventures, from painting class to paddle boating. Mom, your love and support was the fuel that enabled me to do things that I thought impossible. A Mother's love is like a circle, it has no beginning and no ending. It keeps going around and around, ever expanding, touching everyone who comes in contact with it. Engulfing them like the mornings mist, warming them like the noontime sun, and covering them like a blanket of evening stars. A Memorial service to celebrate Pat's life will be held on Friday, February 29, 2008 at 11:00 am at the Blessed Sacrament Parish, 710 Roanoke Street, Transcona. Forever in our hearts Transcona Funeral Chapel in care of arrangements.

I miss you so much mom. Your life influence was so important and cherished. Each day I resist the temptation to call you and tell you the great news or just want to share my day. Valentines day is not so bad anymore. The silver lining (that I would trade back for you) has shown itself. I smile because, I know you are with me on my journey helping with challenges and celebrating achievements. I share your story, the love you provided and wisdom you passed on, with all who will listen. Each day a memory of you helps me keep putting my best foot forward. I want to make you proud. So I will. Love you very much, miss you very much. P.S. I got the job! - Posted by: Jackie (Daughter) on: Feb 12, 2013
